Here at House of Raige our mission is to remain visible. Our products are made by queer people, for queer people.
Without the resources typically available to starting businesses through funding, loans, and grants. The House of Raige has invested little by little to build our brand.

My entire life has been dedicated to crafting and creating. From making paper dolls as a kid to sewing garments for fashion week runways. I love to learn and explore all types of creative outlets.
I received my first sewing machine at 12 years old from my Gramma Bonnie, later I was taken to buy fabric for the first time with my Gramma Mary. These two independent and supportive women allowed me a stronger space to explore a life of creativity and design
The Original Raige
The House of Raige is the namesake of Alice Raige, the Drag Persona of James Divine.
Through Drag came a group of friends who shared an involvement in local nightlife, alternative events and the LGBT community.
We built our name up within our local community. Organizing events and creating spaces in queer nightlife.
In 2018 we filed for our DBA License and began putting together a business plan. We experimented with a logo and what our brand Identity would look like
In 2019 we launched our Etsy Store and released a limited collection of products. We were thrilled to have made small steps in our brand’s local recognition.
All that we had been working towards was thrown into a whirlwind of uncertainty. An unexpected blessing was the necessity of masks and the surge of mask sales.
This allowed us the opportunity to invest all our time into our Brand.
We transformed our business into House of Raige LLC, A registered Limited Liability Company in the State of New York!
We also launched our own website, Houseofraige.com
We spent several years drafting patterns, investing in sewing machines and experimenting with different fabrics, materials and techniques. We showcased our first collection at Buffalo Fashion Week FW 2024
We continue building our brand through our website, social media, and local events!
We have several events booked to showcase our brand and products.
Now, It’s time for the next step.
Soon we are launching a fundraiser to raise money for our business. We want to revamp our studio with new machines, stock fabric and invest in advertising. Join us as we grow our brand!
